Friday Project at Little Claire

Morning everyone.  I asked our daughter Vicky for ideas for my project card - she kindly suggested I make her a graduation card...............so here it is.  Full of very  mixed emotions - she flies to New Zealand early on Sunday morning to work on a dairy farm for up to a year...............this card needless to say did take me a little while to make..........so proud of her and love her so so much :)

Anyhow on with the card:  I have used an 8" x 8" scalloped card base.

The backing papers are from LOTV.  Brads, ribbon and clear adhesive stones from "the stash!"  The die is from Xcut.

I have used a rounded corner punch for interest and edged the stamped image with a lime green promarker.

I stamped the rosette out twice on papers used in the card design......matted and layered using 3d pads onto black card for definition.

Used a fineliner for faux stitching and a little glitter glue.......

Close up of the stamp sets used.......................

Hope you have enjoyed a share in my little make................Please check out the Little Claire Website lots of fab new products, plus the gallery is updated regularly.  We are off out this evening for a cheerio and well done family meal....................best take the tissues and wear waterproof mascara!

Love

New peel offs from Little Claire

Little Claire have a fabulous new selection of peel off stickers - quick and easy to use.

I used the recently released Tulip Cat design.........to make my dad his father's day card....

You can make  at least 3 cards per sheet  retailing at just 70p per sheet!
There are 9 new sticker sheets in total, all on the Little Claire Website they represent great value for money too!

If you would you like to win all 9 of the new stickers?  Here's how (totally unrelated)  what is your scariest SPIDER moment?  I'm sure we all have one - Gill shared that she used to live in Germany and the washing machine was kept down in the cellar, well one day (when Steve was away - typical) I ran down, always ran to avoid cobwebs etc, put washing in, quickly opened the drawer to add powder and there, filling up the whole drawer was the biggest spider I have ever seen!  I did scream, ran back upstairs and it took mw ages to go back again, so pleased that my machine is now in the kitchen..........

Let Little Claire know your scariest spider moment(s) and they will draw 3 lucky winners to each win all 9 new stickers!

Entries to be received by Monday 1st July 2013........ x

Please check out my Little Claire teamies who have also been busy   xxGaynor

Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 34 - 'Male Theme'

Tis 15th June and time for a new blog challenge over at Little Claire - Male Themed Cards.........just the diary note I needed in time to make a Father's Day card for my dad.......who has a lovely ginger cat named Holly - he dotes on her.  Easy and quick design from me this time using one of the new outline stickers from Little Claire................there is a fabulous assortment soon to go live on their website.  The cat, paws and butterflies are from the same sheet and the greeting from an additional sheet.......so flexible!

I have to add that it is ages since I last used an outline sticker.................and I thoroughly appreciated the ease of use..................love the paw prints!

I have added a little twine, coloured with my trusty promarkers and yes still some glitter glue even on a man's card....................just had too!

Life is seeming a little unreal at the moment..........our daughter soon sets off to New Zealand after attaining her Diploma in Agriculture...............she has a position on a dairy farm with 350 head of dairy cows................Vicky's expertise - calving and yes she'll arrive just in time for their block calving........dreading her going, still not sure how she packs her life into a 20kg baggage allowance......

Little Claire - June Project Stamp Set

Wow, lovely weather....................

We are just back from a short break in Prague - a fabulous city, the locals and visitors are all so lovely.  We watched with great interest the recent flooding issues in central Europe and were worried whether we should travel or not on Monday.  The Mayor in Prague has declared a national emergency and the foreign office advised essential travel only..............but no directive from our travel operators or airline.................so we went......and are so glad that we did.  Our thoughts are with all those affected by the floods which are still on going.

Anyhow whilst away another great stamp set was released from Little Claire and here are my couple of pics.  One may / may not have been included in the project sheets that went out to all members, I provided the instructions but the opportunity I had to write them up may have been too late for inclusion..................so I thought I'd add them onto here as well.
