Poppies and Bears - from Little Claire

Evening - 1 work day down 4 more to go........exciting afternoon with a visitor in school "from the Amazon Rainforest!"  We had land snails, hissing cockroaches - learnt so much about these guys.....nope still don't like them much:(  A python, tarantula and a skunk.....Rosie the skunk was my favourite she is so sweet - honestly.  The opportunities for youngsters today in their learning is brilliant........hopefully will generate amazing work from everyone......took great pics too....

Onto a couple of shares today using 2 new stamps from Little Claire:

Our garden is blessed with yellow and orange poppies every year and so I chose to colour the poppy stamped image in these tones.  I have also added a Memory Box die, tiny ladybirds that have been in my crafty stash for years, coloured the adhesive pearls with promarkers to match.  I have also coloured a little organza ribbon with promarkers for additional interest.  Backing papers are from Craft Creations also available through Little Claire.

The second stamp is the cutie teddy bears:

Not such a good picture - sorry!  The bears are coloured in toning lilac shades.  The deep punch used is from Martha Stewart.  Little sentiment tag also from Little Claire as is the lilac backing paper.  Mounted onto a Nestabilities Die and some dotty organza ribbon and adhesive tiny black pearls added for interest.

A couple more makes to share later in the week.......now back to sifting through all the pics taken this afternoon...................................xxGaynor

The latest challenge over at Little Claire is a Spring Theme and Sketch.  I have used the latest project stamp, with Little Claire sentiments.  I rarely follow sketches when I am in a creative mood.....but this sketch is beautiful and I shall definitely be using the format again and again.

A quickie share!

We have just returned from a week in Cornwall - weather beautifully mixed - crossing the Causeway to St Michael's Mount in Marazion - wearing a woolley hat, hood and sunglasses to stop my eyes streaming from the cold wind.......................but we have had a wonderful time......didn't need my woolley hat after Sunday!

A little share of a quickie card I made using LOTV toppers, which I have had for a long time.....couldn't decide which image suited so chose 3 which are very apt for the recipient.

Alphabet Letters and Sentiments are from Little Claire...............

Another share tomorrow - new blog challenge at Little Claire is revealed.....and it is a fabulous challenge with a mega prize...............Please join in at Little Claire.  xxGaynor
