Christmas Beach Huts from Little Claire

Delightful and such fun..............

On this card I have used brown kraft paper matted onto blue card.  Stamped and die cut the image with a nestability label, coloured using promarkers.  I have used the button and stitches stamp set from Little Claire and added a bow and ribbon with some seasonal glitter.
On the second card I have used an old map book and brown kraft paper to matt and layer.  Used a Martha Stewart Border punch to create the snowflake border.  Image coloured using promarkers with baker's twine, card candi and glitter added for additional interest

Christmas in June!

Little Claire have begun to release some of their amazing traditional and contemporary Christmas Stamp designs for 2012.  The first being Christmas Tree Owls..........they are so cute.  I love the design as it links tradition with modern trends.  A quick card to create or one that takes a little longer.......

Here I have stamped the image and shaded with promarkers adding fine gold glitter which I feel works really well with traditional Christmas reds.  I have stamped the Little Claire Christmas sentiment punched out using my scallop punch and added small pieces of ribbon to create the illusion of a rosette.  Accent papers have been added and gold candi to link with the gold glitter.

The quick card has been made by cutting an A4 sheet of card to a pyramid shape.  Christmas Tree Owls stamped in gold ink and embossed with gold - I can't remember quite how long is it since I have embossed an image.............and I really enjoyed the magic once again.  I cut the scalloped triangle using my nestabilities set.  The stamped image was trimmed to size and mounted onto the gold mirri card then layered onto the template.  A snowflake was die cut from mirri gold and a wooden glittered star added to the top of the tree,  Unfortunately the sparkle hasn't shown up too well on the photograph..............but the card does has a lovely sparkle!

I'm looking forward to being able to share further new designs this week!

Please check out the http://www.littleclaire.co.uk/  Little Claire Website to share fabulous designs from all the Design Teamies.

Little Claire Latest Blog Challenge.

Using red, white and blue..................

I created my card for the challenge with my son in mind.  He is booked to take his driving test next month and this is a card created to wish him loads of good luck...............

I have used the trio of mini set from Little Claire and the Son sentiment from the Dictionary Definitions superb set.  I have used trusty pro markers for colouring and added buttons to accent.  I also added a wavy hand drawn border around the topper.................I added  banner ribbon to the sentiment to make it a badge of honour so to speak..............and printed out an additional mini and adhered using 3D pads for movement and dimension.

I will not be posting this card onto Facebook as he is "my friend" and I want the card to remain "under wraps until the morning of his test day.xxGaynor

June Project Stamp Set from Little Claire

Afternoon everyone - needing to be busy sat down today.  Just back from a short break in a rather grey, damp and lovely Edinburgh.  Feet suffering today.......think I may become an authority on blisters!  My husband and I walked miles and miles and it was all very lovely.  Feet say rest day today................now with blisters to leave and wait or.....................?

A couple of cards to share created using the "Bed of Roses" stamp set from Little Claire.  This really is such a cheery and very happy set............all pretty and make you smiley frame of mind.
I have so much happening in this card...............hope not too much!  I have used lots of die cuts including some punched little tags on which I have stamped the sentiment which is included in the set.  I rolled back one layer of pretty papers and fixed with a gem set brad.  I have used my trusty promarkers to colour the lovely image.  Added adhesive pearls to embellish.

Same stamp set, similar colour pallete.  I have used a memory box border die for the bottom of the card and punched flowers layering up different sizes embellished with adhesive pearls.  Sentiment added again using a tag die.  Coloured using promarkers..........I hope you agree a fresh and cheerful special card.

Need to get crafting...............my project for Little Claire next Friday.........and a new blog challenge the following week..............need my mojo...........maybe it is looking after my poor sore feet...........:)  Whatever you are doing............enjoy xx
